Tooling Identification Engraving Substrate LYS-7003 combines a smooth matte rust-orange face with one continuous white core in a two-ply front-engraving material. A shallow pass removes the thin colored cap and exposes permanent recessed white words, numbers and line graphics. The contrast comes from the sheet structure rather than printed ink, applied vinyl, raised lettering or secondary paint fill.
Two-Ply Identification Material
The face is a solid warm rust-orange with a smooth low-reflection appearance. It is not metallic, mirror finished, wood grain, glittered or coarsely textured.
Correct shallow engraving removes the thin rust-orange cap and reveals the continuous white core. The identification remains recessed and cannot peel away like an applied label.
The thin face supports tool numbers, fixture codes, mold references, bay locations and simple line symbols when the process-specific base and engraving depth are matched to the job.
LYS-7003 is positioned for tooling, fixture and workshop-asset identification. The rust-orange color is a product attribute and is not presented as automatic compliance with a warning, hazard or regulatory color system. It is separate from LYSHIRE matte orange safety-warning material and terracotta or gloss orange-brown pages.

Processing
LYS-7003 can be supplied with an acrylic base for CO2 laser engraving and cutting or with an ABS base for CNC / rotary engraving, routing and drilling. The rust-orange-and-white appearance remains coordinated, but the two process routes are separate order configurations rather than one universal sheet.
Do not assume the ABS version is the preferred CO2-laser sheet or that the acrylic version automatically replaces a mechanical-engraving order. Send the machine type, processing method, thickness, sheet size and finished application so the correct configuration can be quoted and sampled.
B2B Applications
The matte rust-orange face and recessed white information suit fabricators producing coordinated identification plates for manufacturing environments. Typical uses include:
The application image demonstrates possible use of the engraving substrate. The fabricator and end user remain responsible for confirming the mounting method, cleaning exposure, abrasion, temperature, UV conditions, required wording and any applicable traceability or safety procedure. State these conditions before the material grade is selected.
Wholesale Supply
LYSHIRE supplies tooling-identification engraving substrate to material distributors, industrial sign manufacturers, mold and tooling service companies, engraving shops and OEM equipment builders. Mixed products can be arranged within the standard 500-sheet MOQ, subject to material, thickness and packing requirements. Qualified B2B buyers can request samples to confirm the matte surface, white reveal and selected processing route before bulk purchasing.
For an accurate quotation, provide the sheet size, thickness, quantity, processing method, adhesive requirement, operating environment and destination market.
Buyer Questions
Engraving removes the thin matte rust-orange face layer and reveals the continuous white core as recessed text, numbers, symbols or line graphics.
No. The white is the core material below the colored face. Correct engraving depth exposes it directly without printed ink, vinyl lettering or secondary paint filling.
Yes, as separate process-specific configurations. CO2-laser orders use an acrylic base, while CNC / rotary orders use an ABS base.
Regular thicknesses include 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.8, 1.3, 1.5 and 3.0 mm. Standard size is 600 × 1200 mm, with 305 × 610 mm, 610 × 1220 mm and custom cutting available subject to order review.
No. The color and application visuals do not certify a finished warning or safety sign. The fabricator and end user must verify required colors, wording, symbols, material grade and destination-market rules for the actual project.
